Taste The Difference in Wood-Fired Pizza
What sets Kroner & Baer pizza apart from a traditional oven baked pizza? ​The answer is high heat. We do not use a traditional pizza oven. Instead, our pizzas are cooked in a wood-fired pizza oven. Our oven is so hot (around 900 degrees) it cooks pizzas super quick (about 90-120 seconds). This causes the pizza’s texture to change in a way that can’t be replicated in a conventional oven. Our oven produces pizzas that are crisp and slightly charred on the outside, but moist and chewy on the inside. The heat caramelizes the crust, which puffs up in the steam and intense burst of heat. The cheese bubbles and browns just right. The distinct, but subtle smokiness adds a deeper layer of flavor, especially when the crust and toppings have a slight char. Another reason our pizza so delicious is our ingredients. At Kroner we make our own pizza dough, pizza sauce, and ranch fresh daily. Our meats and veggies are hand sliced, high quality ingredients.
